Dear Ethan & Julie: You have a beautiful family. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and your photos with everyone. Your extended church family are all praying for Noah. I have asked for prayers from my brother and his family, as well as my mother in law and sister in law. You have prayers going up from all over.
I am praying for you daily.
Love, Lynne
Dear Julie & Ethan, What precious pictures! Your family is in my prayers and thoughts almost constantly. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and feelings. I’m so encouraged by your strength and dependence on our Heavenly Father. He loves you so much. Lisa
Julie & Ethan,
You are constantly on my mind and in my prayers. My heart has not stopped aching for you. My family and their congregations are praying for you as well.
Love, Susan
Julie, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I am not sure if you remember me, but I am Kathy’s (from Hill) daughter. I will ask for the church to pray for that beautiful baby boy. God bless you and your family.

Julie and Ethan,
I am among those whom you do not know. I came across your blog site via Baby Ira’s, who was mentioned on Mike Cope’s.
Thank you for sharing your pictures. Your family is beautiful! Noah is the sweetest baby boy, and your pictures captured the love your family has for him and each other. Alyssa reminds me of my own 2 year old Annaleigh, blond and curls.
My heart aches for you and I lift you up before God for Noah’s healing and your strength. Both of you have expressed your journey so openly…thanks for sharing in such a genuine way.
Julie, I have a heavy spot in my heart as you seek for strength. I can offer no answers except to suggest that you take only one moment at a time. Sometimes life is so much like the labor process…you just have to focus on breathing. This minute. This contraction. Know there will be moments God will provide a resting spot, however brief, and you will enjoy and breath those moments too. Those will strengthen you for the next contraction. Let others be your coach…you can do this, God will help you. Just one moment at a time.
I don’t remember where the scripture is (don’t you hate that!), but I am often consoled by the passage that says God knows we dust. He understands we are not super-humans, super-moms, super-spiritual. It is great when we have those moments of victory which make us feel that way, but probably even then, God knows we are dust and need Him.
I pray that God anoints your family, each of you, with the power of the Holy Spirit, for strength, joy in the midst of grief, and hope that is anchored in His word which proclaims our future with Him is a great one.
In Him,

Julie and Ethan,
What a precious little boy you have, and how wonderful that you are able to hold him and enjoy him. I am praying for your family, for your strength to make it through these difficult times. It is so wonderful that he is progressing and able to get off of the warming bed already. He is obviously a little fighter! I remember sitting in the NICU at Texas Children’s with my baby just 14 months ago. We were only there for one week, but I do remember the lonely feeling I had in a room surrounding by babies struggling for life. Even the strongest of us can get down in that environment, given the situation your family faces. Remember at those times when you don’t feel like you have anyone to talk to
or to lean on for support that God is with you every step of the way, surrounding you with love. It sounds like you have been able to get away from the hospital. I was not able to do that…it just felt wrong at the time…but I can only say from hindsite that I wish I would have gone home for at least a few hours each day to enjoy my precious gifts at home, too. Know that your church family is praying for you, for your family, and for precious Noah.
Love, Susan C.
Julie and Ethan,
We are thinking about and praying for you and your family. Thank you for sharing your heart with us.
Love,
Allison and Keith Rockwell
I just heard about Noah yesterday through my friends, the Hays, where i live now in New York City. I will keep you all in my prayers and hopefully i can see you all very soon.
Julie and Ethan,
Thank you so much for sharing your family so openly. What a beautiful family you have! This site has been so wonderful to log on and find out what’s going on at any time without disrupting your family with a phone call. I wanted you to know that I have been in a constant state of prayer for all of you. Even when I’m wakened in the middle of the night I believe it must be the Lord telling me it’s time to pray again. May He wrap His loving arms around all of you.

Hi Julie. Just wanted you to know that your family is on our hearts and pray fervently for baby Noah.
Love,

Dear Ethan and Julie,
I have prayed for you all and precious Noah several times already today and in the days past. He is so adorable and to see his big sister holding and kissing him is such a blessing. Noah is a blessed little boy to have such a loving family. I appreciate so much you sharing your thoughts and feelings with your friends and church family. I have been so encouraged this week by your faith and strength. Just last night I was sharing your struggles with my parents. They live up near Wichita Falls and asked them and their church to pray for you all. I sent her the blog to keep up as well. Many prayers are continually being lifted up to the Father for your family.
In Him, Lisa C.
Julie & Ethan,
We continue to lift you up to our Heavenly Father in our every prayer. Our Abbey even blesses baby Noah in her sweet prayers. As the body of Christ, we hurt and ache along side you. Our prayers will not cease for you friends.

Julie and Ethan,
What a beautiful family you have. When we were in Abilene this weekend, Gran (Rocky’s mom) mentioned that Roc’s dear, lifelong friend, Glo Lambert Hayes, had a new grandson that needed our prayers. That grandson is Ira. Roc and Glo grew up together. What a close knit family the body of Christ is. In times of need and prayer the web of support is as wide as the world and as close as a heartbeat. The beauty of Christ and the Holy Spirit makes us one. We pray without ceasing for each of you. We love you deeply.
God bless,
Vicki and Rocky
Julie and Ethan,
Just wanted to let you know that our hearts are heavy at this time as we learned of baby Noah’s condition and that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. The blog site is a great tool to share with friends and family and I commend you and Ethan for being able to open up and share your family and thoughts. Alyssa is just darling and I know it is hard to explain why Noah is not home yet.
Take care and may God give you strength each new day to press onward and accept whatever challenges He has in store for your loving caring family.
Our continued love and prayers go with you. God bless you all.
Love,
Jim & Elaine Ownby (friends of Tim & Donna) Rockwall, TX
Dearest Julie & Ethan,
I am glad that you are able to write about how you are feeling as David did in the Psalms. You are being bold before our LORD just as David was even if you feel it is just your grief and confusion speaking. I heard a song one time, that talked about loaning someone their faith when they didn’t seem to be in touch with their own. Dear ones…Please feel free to depend upon the faith and hope of all of us who love you so much. We are here for you at all times forever. You know that God will never leave you, but you can count us there also. I love little Noah so much…who wouldn’t…just look at that face! My prayers are with you constantly, day and night.
With much love in and through our LORD,
C.
P.S. Your beautiful & precious first family photo is prominent in my picture gallery around my computer armoir! Thus you are ever before me in thought and sight.
