Boundless

I love my brother-in-law Steve. How many people have you met that have Steve’s heart and passion for our Savior? I love his boundless love for me and Julie. Steve started this blog to relieve the burden on Julie and me and I can’t thank him enough. I also know that Steve is passionately praying for my son and another beautiful boy, Ira Hays. Steve keep up the good work and everybody keep checking back here for the latest news. – Ethan

  1. Oh, dearest Ethan and Julie,
I just did not want to even come in and read the blog tonight, afraid I would get such bad news, and instead I see your glimmers of hope. I see your sweet faith bouying you up, carrying you through.
Noah’s picture, held in Julie’s arms, such a peaceful, beautiul little face, makes my heart jump in to hold him myself.
My heart is broken and yet, I , too, know that because God has the plan, I am comforted.
I am so thankful that you two know the Supreme source of comfort, the Lord, Jesus Christ, who suffered so, just for our sakes, just so we would know in a time like this, that we can trust Him.
Hallelujah. Julie, I wish I could hold you, and rock you, and pat your little back. I can’t imagine what this must be like, and I am so proud of you and Ethan to be able to bear up under such sorrow. I love you, all four of you, in that branch of the Whaley family tree. Give Alyssa a sweet little hug for me, and Noah a sweet kiss.
May your Mother’s Day be blessed. Know that we are praying for you all to have strength, and faith, and joy. For “joy is not the absence of suffering, but is the presence of God.”
    Love always,
    Carol Mc.
