Alyssa had her Christmas Program at school this week. She had sung the songs for me, but I had visions of her 2 year old program in my head. That would be her walking down the aisle grasping her teacher’s hand, then begin to cry as soon as she saw me. She never recovered for that program, but she did GREAT this time. We were so proud of her. And Megan loved watching her. If you listen to the video closely, you can hear her laugh a few times and say “sissssss”. It was so funny. I am not sure she actually saw her, but she most have known she was up there. As we were walking to her reception, I told her she did awesome and I was so proud of her. And she said, “Yeah, mom, I didn’t cry and run off the stage like you thought I would.” I replied, “Who said that? I never said that! (to your face)” I guess it is true that they are always listening. We missed not having her grandparents there to cheer her on, but thanks to Amanda and Mallory for supporting our girl.
Good Job Lyss! We are proud of you!
Alyssa did GREAT! Woo Hoo π
What a fun program! I like that all (or at least most) of the songs were actually about Jesus… and not reindeer or elves, like some other programs. Anyway, Alyssa sure looked cute and I love the candy cane pants!!! Let me guess… you made them? : )
Kate and I both watched the video and we loved it. Kate waved to Alyssa and said she misses her friend…looking forward to seeing you all.
Yay!!!! You did it, Alyssa! The only thing that would make it better would be if I could have been there in person to see you. Can’t wait until you sing your song, “It’s your birthday, Jesus” when we have our Eller grandchildren production.
Beautiful pictures, beautiful family, and all of your pictures ALWAYS make me smile!! Miss you guys but thrilled to see ya’ll having a great time in TN and enjoying thier amazing weather.
