Adventures with our flat cousins

Flat Blakely, flat Jack, and flat Tate came to visit us last week. We were to take them somewhere fun in TN since they have not been to visit yet.

For a week they hung out in the kitchen with us, watching us eat bkfst, lunch and dinner.

They were tired of hanging on the door, so we taped them securely to the seats to head on our adventure.

We went to the park where they hung around on the equipment. The swings were a bit difficult, but they enjoyed the monkey bars and the slide.

We took Jack to a train car and let him climb aboard and even drive a bit.

And here is the view from his window. Pretty nice, isn’t it.

While we had fun with our flat cousins, it is time to fold them up and send them home. I promise to poke a few air holes for them. Thanks for the adventure Steve and Jen.

  1. Yeah updates!! The new site looks great! I love the cool tree. It’s fun to have visitors-the flat ones seemed fun! 🙂

  2. That’s hilarious. Flat Alison and Flat Ryan are totally going to pay a visit someday. Can you take us out to eat somewhere nice? We can’t really afford it ourselves. That would be very generous of you. 🙂

  3. That is hilarious!! I laughed out loud, and then I thought to myself “hmm, sometimes i’d like a flat Graham b/c then he wouldn’t talk back to me”! I also like the new site….so creative!

  4. way to go flat ellers, hope you enjoyed your trip to TN. Great site too, did you create that picture yourself of the trees?

  5. How much are flat airline tickets going for these days? I might try that myself! I’ve always wanted to go to Switzerland. Hmmm.

  6. That is hysterical! I can’t believe you took the flat cousins so many places! I hope they enjoyed it and are appreciative of your generosity!

  7. I assume this had something to do with Flat Stanley. I bet Blakely had the book in school. It is such a neat thing to do with kids. Alyssa would enjoy hearing the books.
